To get a Pleasure Craft Operator Card boating licence, you must first take the online course. The course fees for is around $45 without applicable taxes, and you will have to complete the course within one year. You can invest three hours a day for the course, and you are required to complete quizzes. You must secure 85 percent in these quizzes to proceed ahead in the course.
Once you have completed the course, you are required to take the final examination for obtaining the boat licence in Toronto. The examination will include 50 questions at the end of which a result of 75 percent is required for successful completion. If you fail the first time, you can retake the test after 24 hours. However, if you fail the second time, you will have to do the online course all over again and reappear for the examination.
